Are counseling sessions in person or virtual?

Currently, More Grace is only offering HIPAA-compliant virtual counseling. Research has shown that virtual counseling can effectively improve most counseling concerns.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, we are not accepting insurance. If you would like to submit bills to your insurance company for reimbursement, we are happy to provide billing documentation each month.

How much does counseling cost?

Fees for counseling are:

The initial consultation is free.

50 minute therapy session - $95

90 minute therapy session - $115

50 minute relationship therapy session - $115

90 minute co-parenting therapy session - $175

Mediation session - $175/per hour

Can you prescribe medication?

No, we cannot prescribe medication. Consulting with a psychiatrist or medical doctor is necessary to have medication prescribed. If you are in need of a psychiatric evaluation and/or medication, we are happy to help you identify a psychiatrist. 

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes! If you need to cancel your scheduled appointment unexpectedly, we require the cancellation request to be received 24 hours before your appointment time to avoid being charged the full cost of your session.

What is EMDR?

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) is a specialized form of therapy used to help people process and heal from traumatic experiences. EMDR looks different from typical psychotherapy, as instead of mainly talking about your feelings you will be using body movement to process traumatic memories or unpleasant body sensations. The body movement is called bilateral stimulation and is commonly facilitated with eye movements. EMDR is a research-based approach proven effective in treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as well as chronic pain. 

What is the Gottman Method Couples Therapy?

The Gottman Method is a researched approach to couples therapy developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman designed to help strengthen relationships in three primary areas: friendship, conflict management, and creation of shared meaning. The Gottman Method has been proven effective to support relationships across all economic, racial, sexual orientation, and cultural sectors.
